First Steps
To install this theme you must have a working version of WordPress already installed. If you need help installing WordPress, follow the instructions in WordPress Codex. Below are all the useful links for WordPress information.

Server Requirements
You must be running WordPress 5.0 or higher, PHP 7.0 or greater, and MySQL 5 or greater on your server. We have tested it on Linux, Mac and Windows. Below is a list of items you should ensure your host can comply with.

Check to ensure that your web host has the minimum requirements to run WordPress.
Always make sure they are running the latest version of WordPress.
You can download the latest release of WordPress from the official WordPress website.
Always create secure passwords for FTP and Databases.
PHP Requirements
Many issues you may run into such as white screen, demo content fails when importing, empty page content, theme not being saved and other similar issues are all related to low PHP configuration limits. The solution is to increase the PHP limits. You can do this on your own, or contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase those limits to a minimum of the following:
max_execution_time 120
memory_limit 128M
post_max_size 64M
upload_max_filesize 64M
max_input_time 60
Package
Download Theme files from ThemeForest by going to the downloads tab and finding the Netstorm.
Check the files contained in the package:

Licensing:
This folder contains the terms and conditions of the license under which Netstorm is distributed and some information on licensing of various parts of the theme in a separate file.

Plugins:
In this folder are the required Netstorm plugins. Installation is optional. We recommend that you install to take advantage of all available features.

netstorm.zip:
This is the main file that you will need to upload for your WordPress installation.

netstorm-child.zip:
This is a file for implementing a child theme. Recommended for advanced users only.
Installation
- From the dashboard go to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme;
- Click on Choose File and select netstorm.zip;
- Click on Install Now.
Updating
- Click here to generate an Envato API token;
- Give your token a name, agree to the terms and click on the Create Token button;
- Copy the generated token;
- From the dashboard go to Envato Market Plugin and paste your token in the Token line;
- Save the changes.
- Go to Appearance > Themes and see if there is any updates.
Installing Required Plugins
Netstorm requires a set of core and additional plugins to function correctly. A plugin is an additional component that offers functionality and features beyond a typical WordPress installation. Without them, most of its functionality is not available. After installing the theme you will be prompted to install the required plugins at the top of your dashboard.
- From the dashboard go to Appearance > Install Plugins;
- Toggle all the required plugins and hint Install;
- The last step will be activating the plugins.
Creating a Menu
To create a menu for your site, do the following:
- From the dashboard go to Appearance > Menus;
- On the left, find the list section that starts with pages;
- Check the checkbox of every element you want to have in your menu;
- Click on Add to Menu;
- Set display location in menu settings as Primary and click on Save Menu button.
Creating an Anchor Menu Item
The Theme generates IDs for each section on the page.
Example:
#content-1, #content-2, #about, #services, #contact
Add custom links to your menu with the desired label and as a URL, inform the section you want.
One Click Demo Import
To import a demo for your site, do the following:
- From the dashboard go to Appearance > Import Demo Data;
- Choose the Demo you want to import and click on Import followed by "Yes. Import!";
- Wait for the import to complete and the Demo you chose will be set as your Home Page.
Importing the demo will replace your Design & Colors settings. When importing Demos, an example menu will be set. It is recommend that you configure a Menu, the Footer Section and General Settings (Forms and Others) regardless of the import of the demo.
Theme Options
In the Theme Options, it is possible to configure the options of the layout, typography, forms and customized sections. It is extremely important that you follow the previous step Installing Required Plugins so that all options are available.
General Options
From the dashboard go to Theme Options > General Options.
WordPress has its own customization area for Site Identity, so as not to duplicate things, this must be done at: Appearance > Customize. It is possible to customize the Logo, Site Title, Tagline and Site Icon.

Sticky Header:
Enable or disable sticky header here

Back-to-Top Button:
Enable or disable back-to-top button here

Preloader
The preloader will be displayed before the page loads. This is useful if your site has pages with a lot of content. You can enable or disable preloader here.
Header
From the dashboard go to Theme Options > Header.

Search Icon:
Enable this option for a search icon to be displayed in the navigation menu.

Header Background Color:
Choose a background color on your navigation menu. You can also make a transparent header as your need.
Typography
From the dashboard go to Theme Options > Typography.
The typography of the theme is already designed. However, if you need to venture out and create new design ideas using fonts in different sizes and weights, just configure it your way. The available options are:

Body:
Font Family, Size and Weight for the whole body.
Styling Options
From the dashboard go to Theme Options > Styling Options.

Primary Color:
Primary Color will be applied to the color of all primary color content, including Sidebars.

Secondary Color:
Secondary Color will be applied to the color of all secondary color content.
Footer
From the dashboard go to Theme Options > Footer.

Info Text
Here you can give some little bio or info of your website that will displayed.

Copyright
Fill up this text box to edit the text that will be displayed at the end of the footer.
In addition to the Theme options, you can add widgets to the footer in Appearance > Widgets > Footer First / Footer Second / Footer Third. Each widget will be inserted on the Footer Section.
Blog Settings
From the dashboard go to Theme Options > Blog Settings.

Blog Sidebar
Here you can configure the layout of your blog sidebar. Adjust the Blog layout among the available options. The container has 2 layout options: With Sidebar and Without Sidebar (Full Width).
Advanced Settings
From the dashboard go to Theme Options > Advanced Settings.

Custom CSS:
Here you can add a custom CSS. Your code will be loaded on all pages before the body tag. It is not necessary to include the style tag.

Custom JS:
Here you can add a custom JavaScript. Your code will be loaded on all pages before the body tag. It is not necessary to include the script tag.
